The Puntoun farm is a family story... Third generation Jean-Pierre Lamothe took over the farm in 1986. Nestled in the heart of a valley in the south of Gers in South West France, the ducks of the Ferme du Puntoun flourish in the open air.
This Foie Gras is easily sliced to make cooking or serving far easier!
The delicate "mi-cuit" we have here should be kept in the fridge and allowed to come to room temperature before serving.

This mi-cuit is what foie gras is about. Silky, tasty, earthy and refined at the same time, it melts under the tongue. Well above any one in jars. I make an armagnac jelly on the side and eat it with walnut sourdough toast and some green leaves in walnut oil vinaigrette. Heavenly
Much nicer than one I purchased at Christmas from another shop. Perfect with homemade bread and a chilled glass of Monbazillac.
