Traditional artisanally Scottish smoked Trout (200g)
We love to find people who produce amazing things and we found Sutherlands of Portsoy recently. Based in the small fishing village of Portsoy in the North-East of Scotland, they are a true traditional smokery. The carefully selected fish from the East coast near Oban are hand salted to start the curing process. Then they are placed in a kiln and smoked over shavings from oak casks to give a special traditional smokey flavour.
No artificial chemicals or preservatives are used - that would be breaking with tradition.
